Tahir Mckenzie is a photographer based in Bedstuy, Brooklyn NY. Picking up the craft in 2014 while studying fashion design at Nassau Community College & the Fashion Institute of Technology, his eye has evolved over time to shape his interpretations of design and lifestyle images. The trade/skill of design has helped him study photography in a way of understanding the nature of movement within garments as well as the impetus behind building the worlds within our minds. 

   The dual and intrinsic nature of design and photography has helped Tahir create a language around his images that translate as intimate and ethereal.
